Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

Please read this document carefully. By creating an account, using FanLine, booking a call, sending a paid direct message, receiving a paid direct message, or receiving creator payouts, you agree to the terms that apply to your use of the service.

This Privacy Policy explains how FanLine collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use the FanLine mobile application, websites, creator profile pages, payment features, calling features, messaging features, booking features, and related services. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information

We may collect information you provide when you create or update an account, including your name, email address, username, authentication identifiers, role, profile details, avatar, bio, social links, category, interests, preferences, and account settings.

Creator profile, verification, and payout information

If you use creator features, we may collect creator profile information, intro videos, verification videos, verification status, availability, timezone, pricing, payout status, referral information, creator settings, and information needed to support trust, safety, and payout workflows. Payment providers may collect identity, bank, tax, and compliance information directly from creators.

Messages, calls, bookings, and app activity

We may collect direct messages, paid direct message records, message metadata, bookings, call status, call duration, call participants, connection metadata, reviews, reports, blocks, support requests, wallet ledger activity, transaction records, profile views, link activity, notifications, and other activity generated through FanLine.

FanLine may process live audio and video data to connect 1:1 calls. We may collect call metadata for billing, safety, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and support. We may review, preserve, restrict, or disclose messages or call-related information when needed for safety, support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or enforcement of our Terms.

Payment and wallet information

We may collect transaction amounts, wallet balances, reserved balances, payout amounts, platform fees, processing fees, refunds, chargebacks, payment status, payout status, payment provider identifiers, and other records needed to operate paid 1:1 service features. We do not intend to store full payment card numbers or full bank account numbers in FanLine systems when those details are handled by payment providers.

Device, usage, and technical information

We may collect device type, operating system, app version, device identifiers, push notification tokens, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, timezone, language, diagnostics, crash logs, performance data, access dates and times, pages and screens viewed, taps, feature usage, and similar analytics or security information.

Device permissions

FanLine may request access to device features such as camera, microphone, photos, media, notifications, and other permissions needed to support 1:1 calls, creator verification, uploads, alerts, and app features. You can control many permissions through your device settings. Disabling permissions may prevent some features from working.

  • Gambling, betting, lotteries, raffles, or games of chance.
  • Financial or investment scams, including misleading earnings claims, paid signals, pump-and-dump schemes, or guaranteed-return offers.

We may also use information to enforce permanent lifetime bans for serious first-offense violations, remove users or creators from the platform, disable monetization access, preserve enforcement records, and prevent banned users from creating new accounts or returning to FanLine.

3. How information is shared

With other users

FanLine is a direct communication platform. Information you add to your creator or fan profile may be visible to other users depending on your settings and the feature used. When you book calls, send messages, view paid direct messages, leave reviews, report accounts, or interact with other users, we may share information needed to enable that interaction.

With service providers

We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us operate FanLine, including payment processors, payout providers, identity verification providers, tax reporting providers, cloud hosting providers, database providers, media storage providers, video and call infrastructure providers, authentication providers, push notification providers, analytics providers, crash reporting tools, moderation tools, customer support tools, and security providers.

With payment and app platform partners

Payment providers, banks, card networks, app stores, mobile operating systems, and related partners may receive information needed to process payments, payouts, refunds, disputes, fraud checks, taxes, app distribution, and compliance obligations. Their handling of your information may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

For legal, safety, and business reasons

We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, subpoenas, court orders, government requests, tax obligations, payment rules, or app store requirements; to enforce our Terms; to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or safety issues; to protect the rights, property, and safety of FanLine, users, creators, or others; or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

4. Payments, payouts, and third-party processors

FanLine may use third-party payment providers to process charges, wallet top-ups, creator payouts, referrals, refunds, disputes, identity checks, bank account checks, and tax documentation. These providers may collect information directly from you and process it under their own terms and privacy policies. FanLine may receive limited information from those providers, such as customer identifiers, connected account identifiers, transaction status, payout status, dispute status, and verification status.

5. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

FanLine websites, creator profile pages, emails, and app features may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, analytics tools, or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand traffic, measure performance, prevent fraud, and improve FanLine. Your browser or device may allow you to limit some of these technologies.

6. Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide FanLine, operate paid 1:1 service features, maintain accurate transaction records, comply with legal, tax, accounting, payment, and app store obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, prevent fraud, protect users, maintain backups, and improve the service. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the reason we collected it, and legal or operational requirements.

If you delete your account or request deletion, we may delete or de-identify certain information, but we may retain information where needed for legal compliance, transaction records, fraud prevention, safety, dispute resolution, tax reporting, backups, or legitimate business purposes.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These safeguards may include access controls, encryption in transit, provider security controls, monitoring, authentication measures, and internal limits on access to user information. No app, network, device, provider, or storage system can be guaranteed to be fully secure.

8. Your choices and rights

You may update certain account and profile information in the app. You may control certain device permissions, including camera, microphone, photos, media, and notifications, through your device settings. You may also unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails where an unsubscribe option is provided, but we may still send service, security, payment, and account messages.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or appeal regarding certain personal information. You may submit privacy requests by contacting legal@joinfanline.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws define "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" broadly. If FanLine uses analytics, advertising, or measurement technologies that are considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law, eligible users may have the right to opt out.

9. Children's privacy

FanLine is not intended for children or minors. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if that age is higher than 18, to use FanLine. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child or ineligible minor has created an account, we may delete the account and related information where required.

10. International users

FanLine is operated from the United States. If you access FanLine from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws where you live.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice through the app, by email, or by another reasonable method. The updated Privacy Policy will be effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated.
